Jean’s Home Baking

Piano Move, Buxton.

All of Jean’s now grown up children were taught to play a fine old family piano that she recently decided to pass it on, for free no less, to a young family who we had moved into the area from Didsbury just the previous day. When we caught up with Jean she was up to her elbows in cake mix baking for her birthday the following day (I was too scared to ask how old). She was making all the favourite cakes of her piano playing kids who would all be arriving to celebrate. And of course she insisted that we sample some. How could we say no?
